Our maze offers a host of educational opportunities for students of all ages.
CORN: Students can learn interesting facts about corn and the many uses that are developed daily. Hand-Outs Available: Corn Facts and Uses
NAVIGATION: Students enhance their map skills with the giant corn maze.
TEAM WORK: It is suggested that teachers organize their groups so that the teams are made up of kids not normally together. This encourages group problem solving skills.
HISTORY: Our giant corn maze includes 18 word and picture stations. Each station posts an important fact related to our current year theme. For 2011, our theme is "Salute To The American Soldier".
MAPLE SYRUP: Located within the viewing area of the guided hay ride is a highly concentrated area of maple trees which are annually tapped to collect maple sap.
LOCAL FARM FACTS: The guided hay ride includes a discussion on farm life and history of our farm.
