Our maze offers a host of educational opportunities for students of all ages.

CORN:  Students can learn interesting facts about corn and the many uses that are developed daily.

Hand-Outs Available:  Corn Facts and Uses

NAVIGATION:  Students enhance their map skills with both the giant corn maze and geo-caching games.  In addition, geo-caching requires the ability to read a compass.

TEAM WORK:  It is suggested that teachers organize their groups so that the teams are made up of kids not normally together.  This encourages group problem solving skills.

HISTORY:  Our giant corn maze includes 18 word and picture stations.  Each station posts an important fact related to our current year theme.  For 2009, our theme is the Wild West.  Your students will learn about the customs and how life really was during the Wild West.

MAPLE SYRUP:  Located within the viewing area of the guided hay ride is a highly concentrated area of maple trees which are annually tapped to collect maple sap.

LOCAL FARM FACTS:  The guided hay ride includes a discussion on farm life and history of our farm.
